PROGRAMME OF EVENTS FOR 2022
In the winter (October to March inclusive) we meet on a Tuesday evening at 19-30 - at the Falcon Hotel Bromyard and we try to vary the evenings to keep interest.
We have simulator evenings with the clubs mode 1 and mode 2 TX where members can try out different manoeuvres prior to flying them at the field, some evenings are just a pint and a chat. When we are able, we like to have guest speakers. During the summer (April to September inclusive) the Tuesday evening meetings are spent at the flying field with short meetings and plenty of flying (subject to the weather.)

EXTERNAL TRIPS
We intend to book a club days flying at the BMFA Buckminster site with perhaps a overnight stay to make most of the time spent there.

We hope we can make a return visit to Rolls Royce engine plant and Aerospace museum at Filton.
​
The Vintage aircraft museum and the Shuttleworth collection at Old Warden
has been suggested for another overnight stay including a visit to Duxford (almost on the doorstep) or making a separate visit to Duxford.
​
A second half day visit to the Jet Age museum at Gloucester airport will be on the cards also.
​
A combined fly-in and BBQ with one of the local model clubs is being looked into.
​
March Falcon Hotel - Quiz Night based on all things flying.

Flying Field events
April. Fly some thing different, have a change from your usual model, bring something that has been on the shelf for ever and you have been putting off the first flight.

May. Club bring and buy, get rid of all the bits that have been clogging up the workshop
June/July. Sports day with fun competitions, usually good fun but bring your old planes as they could go home in a 'black bag'
​
August. Club BBQ and Fun Fly day, family and friends welcome.
AGM first Tuesday evening in December.
